Who are we?

Animaj is an entertainment company producing and licensing animated stories, characters and fictional universes for all children.

We collaborate with top independent YouTube creators to accelerate their growth and help them establish their stories as global brands.

Our business model is to acquire and scale high potential IPs (universes, characters, and stories), facilitating distribution on over 100 streaming platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Sky, Roku,, and develop brands via content licensing, merchandising, original productions, and brand partnerships.

Job Description


As M&A intern, you will help assess acquisition opportunities and support the team during transaction executions. You will be involved in tasks such as market research, preparation of presentations, valuation analyses and assist in the execution process of deals.

Small deal teams allow for increased accountability, responsibility and visibility. From day one, you will be working with experienced professionals and external advisors on transactions.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and M&A, and able to deliver high quality work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.


  • Support the team during transaction executions (1 deal per month), fully taking part to the due diligence process, business plan modeling, and valuation work
  • Lead critical analysis of analytics shared by potential targets, drawing conclusions on historical performance drivers and insights on future trends
  • Preparation of board/shareholders meetings
  • Collaborate with Operations, Digital Marketing, and other departments to factor in their inputs in the Due Diligence process


  • Top business or engineering school with strong academic performance
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel / PowerPoint)
  • First experience in a consulting firm, bank, private equity fund, or big four
  • Very good understanding of corporate finance
  • Fluent French and English speaker and writer
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • You are a results-driven team player and you are committed to excellence in your work
