OLiViER DUMONT JOiNS THE ANiMAJ BOARD

Animaj appoints Olivier Dumont to its Board as it enters a new phase of growth

Animaj is entering a new chapter with the appointment of Olivier Dumont as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective April 8, 2026.

His arrival comes at a pivotal moment for the company, as Animaj evolves from acquiring and scaling iconic children’s IPs to originating its own brand-new properties, designed from the ground up for a digital-first, global audience.

A Proven Franchise Builder

Olivier brings more than 30 years of experience in kids’ and family entertainment. He most recently served as President of Hasbro Entertainment, overseeing content for globally recognized franchises including Peppa Pig, Transformers, My Little Pony, Monopoly, and Magic: the Gathering.

Prior to that, he spent 13 years as President of Family Brands at Entertainment One (eOne), and held senior leadership roles at TV Loonland, Saban/Disney, Canal J, and Lagardère.

Under his leadership, Peppa Pig and PJ Masks each surpassed $1 billion in annual retail sales, establishing themselves as leading global franchises.

Supporting Animaj’s Next Phase

Animaj has built its scale by acquiring and expanding iconic properties such as Pocoyo and Maya the Bee. The company is now focused on creating original IPs designed natively for digital platforms and global audiences.

Olivier’s appointment reflects this shift. As an independent board member, he brings deep expertise in building franchises across content and consumer products, along with a strong understanding of international markets.

As Animaj CEO Sixte de Vauplane explains:

The winners of the next decade won't be the companies that simply own IP, but those that know how to create franchises natively for digital platforms. Olivier has been behind some of the most successful kids' brands of the past 30 years, and his perspective is exactly what we need as we scale the next wave.

Olivier Dumont adds:

"There's a real opportunity to build the next generation of kids' franchises differently," he shared. "Animaj has the audience, the data, and the mindset to do it.

With 242 million monthly unique viewers on YouTube, Animaj already reaches one of the largest digital kids’ audiences globally, providing a strong foundation for this next phase of growth.

Olivier’s appointment also strengthens Animaj’s governance as the company continues to expand its portfolio and establish its digital-first model in kids’ and family entertainment.
