POCOYO iS NOW iN THE NURTURE APP

Pocoyo and his friends are embarking on a new adventure on the Nurture App, helping children develop essential human skills like creativity and flexible thinking through interactive play.

At Animaj, we believe the most meaningful stories for kids are the ones that invite them to think, explore, and grow. That’s why we’re excited to announce a new partnership with Nurture, bringing Pocoyo to their Life Readiness platform through a series of interactive, story-driven adventures designed for children ages four to seven.

Available now on the Nurture app, the first adventure, “Weekend Getaway,” introduces Pocoyo and his friends through interactive storytelling, allowing children to actively shape the story rather than simply watch it.

From Watching to Doing: Pocoyo Reimagined for Interactive Learning

For nearly two decades, Pocoyo has celebrated curiosity, exploration, and learning through experience. This partnership with Nurture builds on those core values by placing children directly inside the story.

In Weekend Getaway, kids join Pocoyo, Elly, Pato, and Bea as they face open-ended challenges with no single “right” answer, from packing a stubborn suitcase to transforming it into a car, or even building an excavator to clean up a lake. Guided by Pocoyo’s familiar narrator, children are invited into the narrative as the Nurture Buddy, encouraged to try ideas, adjust their approach, and think flexibly.

Rather than rewarding speed or correctness, the experience emphasizes persistence, adaptability, and confidence — essential life readiness skills for children growing up in a fast-changing, digital-first world.

Pocoyo has always celebrated curiosity, exploration, and learning through experience. This partnership with Nurture lets us bring Pocoyo to life in a truly interactive way, while staying faithful to the spirit loved by millions of families around the world.

Preparing Kids for an AI-Powered Future

As technology reshapes how children learn and grow, essential human skills like creativity, resilience, and flexible thinking are more important than ever. Yet few digital experiences are designed specifically to help young children practice these capabilities in a developmentally appropriate way.

Nurture’s Life Readiness platform addresses this gap by combining mindful digital play with interactive storytelling. By partnering with trusted, beloved characters like Pocoyo, Nurture creates low-pressure environments where kids can experiment, make mistakes, and learn through play.

Children are forming who they’ll become in these early years, yet nothing has been designed to develop essential human skills that prepare them for the digital and AI-powered world. Nurture serves this need by combining kids’ favorite characters, like Pocoyo, with developmentally appropriate, skill-building stories.

Storytelling With Purpose: Learning Through Play

The Pocoyo x Nurture adventures are built around a simple idea: learning happens best when children feel curious, capable, and supported. Kids watch Pocoyo try to solve problems and then they’re literally called into action, invited to help, suggest ideas, and adapt alongside him.

Kids are invited right into the story. Their goal is not to be correct, but to experiment, adapt, and build confidence through play — the best way to learn.

This approach reflects a shared philosophy between Animaj and Nurture: that high-quality kids’ content should be joyful, thoughtful, and grounded in child development.
