POCOYO RETURNS TO CLAN TV WiTH A NEW SEASON

Celebrating 20 years, Pocoyo comes back to Clan TV with new episodes and the arrival of his little sister Bea.

Pocoyo, the beloved preschool icon returns home to Clan TV with a brand-new season, premiering on October 13. Co-produced by Animaj and RTVE, this sixth season marks a major milestone for one of Spain’s most iconic children’s brands — opening a new chapter filled with fresh stories, evolving characters, and renewed creative ambition.

A creative renaissance led by Pocoyo’s original creator

While Pocoyo and his friends have remained a familiar presence in Spanish households through classic reruns — and continue to reach millions of families each month on platforms like YouTube — this new season represents a true creative renewal.

The series is once again led by Guillermo García Carsí, the original creator of Pocoyo, who returns as director and writer. His comeback brings the show back to its roots, preserving the minimalist charm, physical comedy, and emotional warmth that made Pocoyo a global success, while introducing a refreshed visual style and more expressive storytelling.

For the first time, Pocoyo speaks in full sentences, reflecting his growth and adding new depth to his adventures, a change that mirrors how the character has evolved alongside his audience over the past two decades.

I’m delighted to return to Pocoyo after so many years. From the start, my goal was to create something classic and minimalist, built on universal physical comedy and simple yet expressive characters. With this new season, we’ve recaptured that spirit while bringing new stories, emotions, and adventures. Pocoyo is stronger than ever.

— Guillermo García Carsí

Meet Bea: Pocoyo’s little sister

This new season also introduces Bea, Pocoyo’s little sister, an adorable, curious, and slightly chaotic toddler who brings new warmth, humor, and energy to the group.

Bea’s arrival adds a relatable family dynamic to the series as Pocoyo embraces his new role as a big brother. Through her character, the show explores the everyday joys and challenges of sibling relationships, offering moments of tenderness and comedy that resonate with children and parents alike.

A new season of comedy, adventure, and emotional growth

Aimed at children aged 3 to 5 and designed to be enjoyed as a family, the sixth season of Pocoyo blends humor, imagination, and everyday emotions with the educational spirit that has always defined the series.

Episodes feature longer narratives — with 7-minute singles and 14-minute double episodes, allowing for richer dialogue, deeper character interaction, and more emotional storytelling. Viewers will follow Pocoyo and his friends through imaginative new worlds, from magical forests to outer space, in stories that celebrate curiosity, friendship, and discovery.

Produced entirely in Spain, the new season upholds the creative excellence behind the brand, which has earned over 40 industry awards worldwide.

Pocoyo has been part of Spanish families and of Clan itself for twenty years. As we celebrate two decades together, the series’ educational and emotional values remain as relevant as ever. These new episodes continue our commitment to quality content that grows with its audience and connects generations.

A new chapter for an evergreen brand

Pocoyo’s return to Clan TV marks the beginning of a broader new chapter for the franchise. Beyond broadcast, the launch is part of Animaj’s long-term strategy to strengthen Pocoyo’s presence across platforms, from television and YouTube to social media and live experiences, ensuring the brand continues to grow with its audience.

In parallel, a new toy line developed with Bandai and other licensees brings Pocoyo and his little sister Bea into everyday playtime, reinforcing the emotional bond families have shared with the brand for more than 20 years.
